What is a Personal Chef Service?
A personal chef service is like having your own chef, but at a fraction of the cost. You can access Chef’s services through 4 different levels, depending on your needs. Choose the option that best fits your needs and budgetary constraints. Back to topWhat are the options?
We offer 2 Personal Chef levels, a general Chef’s Menu, and a Custom Creation Menu.Personal Chef
In house - Personal Chef 5 Entrees, 4 servings each (20 meals) $350.00+
Centralized Personal Chef 5 Entrees, 4 servings each (20 meals) $300.00+
No matter which of the above packages you choose, Chef will meet with you personally (or via an online questionnaire, if you prefer) to determine your preferences, likes, dislikes, and any dietary needs you may have. A personalized menu will then be developed based on this information and submitted for your approval. Upon approval, payment is made and Chef shops, prepares, cooks and packages each entrée, ready for your freezer. A copy of the menu and heating instructions are included. With the In-house service, Chef will go into your home and prepare the menu using your kitchen and her equipment. With the Centralized Service, Chef shops, prepares, cooks and packages your entrees in her commercial kitchen, thereby saving valuable time and expense in reduced travel and setup time. Delivery of meals is free within a 20-mile radius of downtown Bangor.
Chef’s Menu
5 entrees, 4 servings each (20 meals) $250.00 or
5 entrees, 2 servings each (10 meals) $125.00
Chef offers a personal menu that changes at least monthly of 5 entrees and sides,where appropriate. Each meal is cooked to order, using only the freshest ingredients and then packaged ready for your freezer. Delivery of meals is free within a 20-mile radius of downtown Bangor.
Custom Creation Menu
Minimum order of $75.00 (before tax)
This option is offered for those who would like more freedom in the selection of individual meals, portion size, or ‘extras’. This menu is great for those needing more flexibility and also a way to ‘add on’ items for those buying other packages. Prices range from $6.97 to $18.00 or higher, depending on the dish.
Back to topWhen do I get the meals I ordered?
Orders are taken until the cut off dates each month (currently the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month by 5:00 p.m.) Ingredients are then purchased and the meals are prepared the following Tuesday and available for pick up or delivery on Wednesday. Orders are taken first come, first serve. In the event the volume of orders exceed the cut off for that cook day, Chef will contact those who missed the cut off and make arrangements for cooking and delivery on the following Tuesday and Wednesday (the 3rd or 5th/1st Tuesday and Wednesday of the month). For those utilizing our Personal Chef service, meals are based solely on individual likes and dislikes. Chef’s Menu offers a wide variety of cuisines and styles from month to month, utilizing only the freshest of ingredients. For those requiring personalized service, we would suggest the Personal Chef service (In-home or Centralized). All our meals are made with only the healthiest of ingredients, no trans fats, no heavy creams, minimal salt, and rarely butter. For those interested in a low cal/low fat diet, stay-tuned. We will be introducing a Low Fat/ Low Cal Menu in the near future. This menu will have both calories and Weight Watchers points, for those who use the point system. We offer free delivery to any home or business within a 20-mile radius of downtown Bangor. Not in that range? No problem, call us and we’ll arrange to meet you the next time you are in the Bangor area. Just remember to bring a cooler and ice, to keep your meals frozen until you get home.
